Training area
The Foundation’s training area interfaces with the local structures for the development of training courses aimed at individual cardiological growth, develops surveys of training needs and implements projects.
The projects the Livia and Vittorio Tonolli Foundation promote, aim to enhance both professional skills and individual knowledge in a medical and scientific training approach.
Training and upgrate training courses
The training and management courses called interactive clinic cardiology seminars (closing the repackaging courses) currently organised in Verbania want to promote the ‘continuous training’ of cardiovascular disease specialists (hospital, university and liberal professionals).
Participants for organisational and educational reasons are limited in number (35-40).
The topics of the courses, chosen by the Foundation’s Scientific Committee, must give rise to problems which:
- are frequently found by cardiologists in their professional practice
- cause frequent or serious diagnostic, therapeutic or prevention errors
- require multidisciplinary collaboration or create ethical difficulties
- highlight a strong motivation to remember, learn and apply basic science concepts
